Turning Points Workbook
I have produced a workbook to accompany, Turning Points: Pivotal Moments in God's Story. The Workbook does not replace the main book. It is intended to help teachers focus their students' attention on a text that highlights the main turning points in the Story of Scripture.
Here is how I envision both books working together. The teacher will prepare for class by reading a chapter in the book. Their reading will help to contextualize the event highlighted in class. Hopefully, it will give them more to work with than they will probably use.
After reading the chapter and digesting it, they can come to class and read the main text provided in the Workbook. Each chapter in the Workbook contains the main text, a few discussion questions, and a few supplementary texts. Two of the chapters do not contain a text from Scripture. One of the turning points in the Story of the Bible is hidden in the period between the Testaments. The last chapter highlights some of the benefits of knowing the Story of the Bible. As you can see, you will need the main text especially for those two chapters.
My hope is that the Workbook will be put to good use especially for younger students. Both books can be obtained through amazing.com.
