Turning Points: Pivotal Moments in God’s Story, contains the material around which this entire website was built. There are a dozen or so events recorded in Scripture that I think function as major turning points in the Story of the Bible. Each chapter in the book explores one of those major events.

The aim of this work is to point the reader to the underlying Story of the Bible. That Story is the thread connecting Genesis to Revelation and every book in between. It provides the context for the individual doctrines by which we do business. It will help the reader to understand their origin, purpose, and destination because the Story the Bible tells is also our story. It will tell you how the world got into the mess it is in and how to get out of it. These are the sorts of things that form Worldviews.

Turning Points: A Workbook is not intended to replace the main text: Turning Points: Pivotal Moments in God's Story. I envision the teacher reading a chapter in the main text in preparation for the class and then leading the students through the material in the Workbook. Each lesson in the Workbook includes a reading from the Bible with a few questions to get them to think about what they have read. There are several supplementary passages listed as well. Each lesson leads the student through the Story of the Bible by means of the major turning points in the Story.
